The first meeting of the North Bay Initiative for Environmental Information Management was held Thursday, May 12, 2005. Representatives of 24 organizations responsible for environmental management or information technology in the region attended, and there was discussion of building an infrastructure based on an information commons. Three committees were formed: Steering, Content, and Technology. |
