Notes: This represents 304 airports, 291 of which are composed of arcs obtained from USGS DLG transportation linework. This linework was derived from the DLG-3 1:100,000 scale digital data series. The remaining 13 airports are composed of arcs obtained from 1:30,000 and larger scale County Series Maps compiled by the State of California, Department of Transportation. Attribute information for non-military airports was directly adopted from the Department of Transportation's, Division of Aeronautics database in August on 1993.
