Notes:
This represents a statewide polygon coverage which classifies geographic areas within California as to their status in attaining California Ambient Air Quality Standards for carbon monoxide. The coverage shows areas (comprised of counties, partial counties, air basins, drainages and urbanized areas) and contains attribute information revealing the attainment designation, the degree of nonattainment and other information. The coding is based upon the area designations approved by the Air Resources Board on December 10, 1992 pursuant to Section 39608 of the California Clean Air Act of 1988.
